Any reservations someone might have about going to see Walking With Dinosaurs at Verizon Center should simply be ignored. There are only six shows left (one Friday, three Saturday and two Sunday) so once you are done reading this posting, go and buy a ticket. Here's the link for tickets.

Granted, the show is geared towards children but it is absolutely fascinating for adults. The narration plays to the little ones but it does not take away from the experience for adults at all. The real treat is just seeing the dinosaurs roaming the Verizon Center floor.

The production quality for this show is amazing. The dinosaurs appear to be real and walking right in front of you. These are not oversized mascots. The attention to detail is astounding and the dinosaurs motions are very fluid.

One aspect of the show that makes it more interesting is there are only two dinosaurs most people have heard of. No spoilers here as to which dinos you'll see but no one should leave disappointed. The dinosaurs are grouped during proper eras so it does not feel like a historically erroneous greatest hits collection.

Now do yourself a favor and buy tickets for the show. It is something you've never seen before and you'll be happy you went. I saw it two nights ago and am still raving to everyone I know.
