Those who are coming to town for Barack Obama's inauguration and want to celebrate the entire time are in luck.  The D.C. City Council is throwing bibbers a bone, allowing bars, nightclubs and restaurants to serve alcohol until 5 a.m. They can serve food all day long beginning Jan. 17 and going until the morning on Jan. 21. Normally, bars can only serve alcohol until 2 a.m. on weekdays, and 3 a.m. on the weekends. Whether there will be enough bathrooms to service all these drinkers is a whole separate story.

Of course, this news is ruffling a few feathers, namely parents who want to bring their children to D.C. and witness this historic event. Parenting Examiner Terreece Clark explains here.
