Those looking for a drink and some revelry on New Year's Eve may want to consider McFadden's, which is right off the GW Metro stop. I've yet to go for New Year's but I have spent many a Sunday afternoon at the bar, as well as one Halloween. While it is sure to get crowded, there is enough space to walk around. McFadden's has an upstairs bar and two on the bottom level. Even with that many bars it may be a struggle at times to get a drink, but not impossible.

The graphic above says tickets are 20 percent off the $125 price tag if you order them by today, Dec. 28, but they are actually just $100 now. I'll probably just be spending New Year's at my place but I definitely recommend McFadden's as an option. Not only is it a good bar, it is also right off the Metro, which gets you off the roads, and away from drunk drivers, for a portion of the night.

For more info: call McFadden's at 202-233-2338.
