The International Conservation Caucus Foundation wants to preserve the world's natural resources and is gathering conservationists from around the country for the U.S. Congressional International Conservation 2009 Inaugural Gala. It will take place on Monday Jan. 19, at the Andrew W. Mellon Auditorium, located at 1301 Constitution Avenue, Washington, D.C. It is right off the Federal Triangle Metro stop.
The group may be concerned with conserving the Earth, but not your wallet. Getting through the doors of the group's 2009 Inauguration Gala will cost you a pretty penny. At least the money will go towards a good cause.
The cheapest a ticket can be had for is $2,500. There are no sweetners at that price level. Once you start getting into sponsorships though, things change. As a bronze level sponsor, at 25K, you get one table at the gala, which includes eight seats and two VIP guests, two invites to the VIP reception and a logo in the gala's program and all pre-gala announcements. A silver sponsorship goes for 35K and gold costs $50,000. Those with deep enough pockets can become sponsors at the Teddy Roosevelt Steward level for $100,000. The benefits of giving at this level include serving as a host for the gala, two tables, 16 invites to the VIP reception, and eight invitations to the Gala Green Room Reception, where you can meet and be photographed with celebrities.
