All summer long, the Science Center of Iowa is offering discounted admission from 5:00-8:00 on Thursday evenings.
General admission for the experience platforms is $5.00 per person. It’s also $5.00 per person to see any IMAX film; there are six films featured this summer including Night at the Museum and IMAX Under the Sea. SCI’s Food Chain Café is offering $5.00 meal specials, too, which includes a choice of three entrees and two sides.

The savings ranges from $2.00-$6.25 per person depending upon your age and activity choices, making this is a great time to learn and play. Families with younger children who do better with shorter activity times and don’t care to use a whole day to explore the Center, or those with an annual pass who want to take friends along to the center will especially enjoy the discounts.
While you’re there, be sure to catch Ed Wilson’s live weather forecast from SCI/WHO-TV’s Channel 13 weather studio at 5:00 and 6:00 P.M. Your kids might even end up on TV!
