 Forever called the 6^th borough, chances are you know someone that lives in Hoboken or you have lived there yourself! I have found a great reason for you to ‘cross the Hudson’ and go to Hoboken!

 The gypsy/folk trend for the fall season calls for unique embroidery and rich, vibrant colors.  Welcome to Aaraa at 628 Washington Street, a mecca for all things embroidered, beaded and (if you're not into the embellished thing) just plain gorgeous.

Walk into Aaraa and be astounded by the display of unique and beautiful jewelry! The first time I walked in, I felt like I was walking into the apartment of a very friendly, tasteful and hip friend.  The staff is super-friendly  and is happy to answer any questions that you have as well as make great suggestions. 

Beautiful chandelier earrings and simple silver rings keep company next to carved bracelets and unique jewelry boxes.  Don’t just stop at the jewelry though!  In the back of the store Aaraa has an amazing array of beautifully colored tunics, shawls and scarves. 

 Looking for a gift?  I have also found here beautiful fabric wine bottle dressings, gorgeous business card holders and richly embroidered table runners.

A couple of the many things I love about Aaraa?  All the prices are wonderfully reasonable (from $20 rings to $40 shawls to $100 bags) and they will even customize many items for you, including bedspreads and cushion covers.
