Dimensions in Poetry Today Live Poets Society Scholarship Contest
Live Poets Society of New Jersey
All U.S. high school students are eligible to enter up until March 31st of their senior year.
Poems must be 20 lines or less, unpublished, the sole work of the entrant, and not be entered in any other concurrent contest.
Only ONE poem per poet may be entered into each contest.
The Easterday Poetry Award of a $1000.00 college scholarship will be awarded to the American High School Poets, "Poet of the Year".
In addition there will be $500.00- $150.00 scholarship prizes respectively.

The 2009 Frank O' Neill Memorial Scholarship is open to anyone attending a university,
college, trade school, technical institute, vocational training or other post-secondary
education program in the 2009-2010 academic year.
The criteria for the scholarship is to write an essay of fewer than 750 words explaining if you think the recent economic stimulus package signed by the president will solve the depression the United States is in right now.

AFSCME Family Scholarship is for graduating high school seniors only
Any graduating high school senior who is a daughter or son of an AFSCME member, (or whose legal guardian or financially responsible grandparent is an AFSCME member) and who intends to enroll in a full-time, four year degree program in any accredited college or university, is eligible to apply for a scholarship.
$2000 each year for a max of four years
App Deadline: Dec 31, 2009
