Kevin BaconToday I’m just sharing four blogs and blog posts I found this week:

Nonprofit Marketing Blog
Blog author Katya Andresen calls it “Robin Hood Marketing—the concept of stealing corporate savvy to sell just causes.” Here’s a nice discussion about storytelling and a discount on “Believe Me” by Michael Margous.

Six Degrees
SixDesgrees.org is a place where you can create a badge for your nonprofit that users can post on their Web sites, blogs and other social media pages to advocate and raise funds for your organization. Current badges include Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, Lesbian and Gay Chorus of Washington, D.C., Network for Good, San Diego Humane Society and many more. Total donations exceed $2.8 million. (And yes, Kevin Bacon started it. We’re all connected to Bacon, you know.) AP Photo/Matt Slocum

Mission Paradox
If you work in the arts, scroll down here and read “Saving Souls.” It’s a nice discussion of one reason people flock to church on Sunday and don’t flock to arts institutions.

Games That Give
For you game players out there, gamesthatgive.com sells ads to generate revenue that, in turn, becomes donations. Don’t believe it? Here’s a Huffington Post article about it.

What’s your favorite blog of the week?
