Finding out about colleges is part of homeschool
PhotoXpress

A free online college fair starts today and runs through Saturday at College Week Live . This website offers a comprehensive free online college fair to all who are interested. Homeschool high school students and parents should take the time to visit this resource in order to see what the top colleges in the US are looking for in high school students. Registration is required.

Visiting colleges

Arkansas Tech University in Russellville, Arkansas was one of the colleges visited online. It is located between Little Rock and Fort Smith Arkansas. Visiting this college through College Week Live one is able to view the admissions requirements, take a virtual tour of the campus, review and download application documents and schedule an online chat with admissions. Most of the other colleges visited offered similar experiences. Colleges and universities throughout the US are represented here.

While it is an easy drive from northwest and central Arkansas, to Arkansas Tech University, busy homeschool families may find it difficult to visit every campus that their homeschooled high school student is interested in. This is especially true for out of state colleges. College Week Live solves this problem by placing colleges from all over the US at the fingertips of parents and students.

Other information

Testing information is available. The ACT has a virtual booth at this college fair. Hours for today are 10:00 am to 10:00 pm Eastern Standard Time.
