The fan site www.the-leaky-cauldron.org reported Friday that the real J. K. Rowling is now tweeting on Twitter.
Ms. Rowling tweets that she discovered others have been twittering on her behalf, so she decided to tweet herself “in order just to prevent any more confusion.”
She warns that we won’t hear from her often, “… as pen and paper is my priority at the moment.”
I doubt she has to. As of today (Monday, Oct 5), she is following no one and has 58,871 followers, including me. I hope she does give us some insights into her current writing, as this is what I find most enjoyable about Twitter. Whatever she decides to do, Ms. Rowling will not lack for an audience.
