Man falls from Tower of Terror attraction at Disney's California Advenure Park

A 20-year-old man was hospitalized Wednesday night after falling approximately 25 feet while in line for the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror attraction at Disney's California Adventure Park.

Around 10:30 p.m., the man and his friends were in the queue for the Tower of Terror attraction when the man put his leg over a railing, lost his balance and fell from the platform.

According to KTLA News in Los Angeles, the Anaheim Police Department confirmed the man had been drinking, which may have played a part in the incident.

The man was treated on site by paramedics and was transported to UC Irvine Medical Center with minor injuries.  He was treated and has since been released.

Disney was forced to shut the ride down temporarily while paramedics tended to the fallen guest and the ride reopened shortly thereafter.

Disney's Twilight Zone Tower of Terror is a haunted elevator ride that transports guests back in time to 1939 at the abandoned Hollywood Tower Hotel.  That night a mysterious bolt of lightning struck the tower, plunging elevator occupants into a free fall of approximately 180 feet.

Just goes to show you that you shouldn't drink and Disney, unless you want to enjoy your own toppling Tower of Tipsy. What an idiot.
