I don’t know about you, but when I fly, I think it’s terrific when I find out the airport I’m at has free WiFi. It’s such a gift. Even if it’s not an expensive one, it’s certainly a convenient one.
So now at 47 airports around the country Virgin America and Google are joining forces to provide this bonus to travelers for the holiday season. They say "WiFi, Wi Not?" Those stuck waiting for flights can get busy on their computer, doing work or just emailing friends to let them know about their situation. The offer is good on every Virgin America flight as well.
So just which airports will be offering the holiday service to make you feel more jolly? Alas, neither San Francisco nor Oakland will be on the list. Maybe that’s something the majors of those cities can look into changing.
Note that the offer runs from Monday, November 16 through January 15, 2010. Meantime, here's the complete list of airports that will have that free holiday WiFi:
Austin (AUS)
