Hybrid Mom, the company founded by New York working mom, Stacy Smith, in 2005, to recognize and encourage all the different roles today's mom plays in her daily life, is running a "State Your Pride" Contest through the month of October.
Go to the website and "State Your Pride" - that is, register your email address and your home state - to join in the fun. At the end of the month, Hybrid Mom will count up the responding moms from each state and compare the numbers to the number of females in each state age 18 and older. The state with the highest ratio of responders to females over the age of 18 will win.
Win what? Well, Hybrid Mom will come to the winning state and host a social event open to the first 10,000 Hybrid Moms who "stated their pride" in that state.
Also this month on HybridMom.com: Resident entrepreneurial expert, Nicole Donnelly, founder of Babylegs, LLC, who sold the majority of her company to United Legwear Co. earlier this year, is fielding questions via email from entrepreneurs. Donnelly says:
