Costco customers will have to make an extra stop to get Coca-Cola products including Coke Classic, Cherry Coke, Black Cherry Vanilla Coke, Diet Coke, Coke Zero, Sprite, Squirt, Dasani Water, Vitamin Water and Full Throttle energy drinks.
The reason? Costco feels they are unable to offer a distinctly competitve price for its customers and cannot come to an agreement with the #1 beverage distributor in the world, according to MSN Money Central.
I find an occasion like this an excellent reason to cut down on unhealthy drinks!
Time and time again, soda consumption has been touted as a major contributor to the American obesity and diabetes problem. It's hard to keep up with work, family and other obligations if you are struggling with weight and endocrine issues!!!
But hey, what about Vitamin Water? Isn't that healthy. No, it's not. Coke has been sued over its misleading label...it has about as much sugar as a fully loaded Coke.
I have already replaced sodas and "health" drinks with Yoli - which will be made available later this week in Minnesota. Safe for diabetics, all natural and no preservatives.
The Twin Cities market is headed up by Michael Peterson and I am excited to be one of his first customers after sampling Yoli over the past month - it's really good and my kids now ask for it all the time. Check it out and get a free sample through the website. Who needs Coke?
