An insider close to the Gosselin family recently reported that Jon and Kate are finally seeing a marriage counselor as suggested by their family and friends. Insiders also insisted that Kate wasn't interested in the counseling but was only going in hopes of keeping the show on air. "Kate wants a future in showbiz, and airing their counseling sessions will shoot the show's ratings through the roof," suggested an insider. It has been reported that "TLC would want to film at least portions of the sessions, but obviously Jon and Kate would have to agree." Another anonymous source close to the couple added: "Jon was all for counseling, but Kate thought their marriage might be too far gone. She would do it for the sake of the children, if nothing else." Apparently she would also do it in the hopes of keeping the show going for at least two more seasons as some have suggested is her longterm goal.
It comes as no surprise that Kate's own brother, Kevin Kreider, is still bashing his sis and her supposed disinterest in her family and marriage and also made it clear that "Kate didn't want any kind of marriage counseling." Kevin and his wife, formerly on the show and known as Aunt Jodi, have very publicly blamed Kate Gosselin for the fallout of the marriage and feel very strongly that the Gosselins are exploiting their eight children.
Hopefully, for the sake of the Gosselin children, the marriage counseling will do the couple some good and they can eventually put this all behind them.

Well. That should take about a minute to diagnose. Kate has Narcissitic Personality Disorder.
But what about the kids? This does nothing to free them from this show. Kids aren't supposed to support their parents, nor are they supposed to pay their therapy bills.
The only person who needs counciling is Kate! It is obvious that she is a control freak! I have watched this show from day one and i feel very bad for Jon and the kids. My husband and I have 6 kids and if I ever treated them or my husband with the nasty rude comments that she does or marriage would have ended 26 years ago! She is in this just for the money and doesn't care about anything else but the FAME! it's too bad that Jon and the kids have to suffer because of her greediness!! Give the kids to Jon because he is the better parent. He shows them more love and affection. He doesn't have favorites and he lets them be kids! Kate treats them like if they are their only to promote her career!
