FOX's hit television show, So You Think You can Dance, is celebrating its 100th episode tonight with actress Katie Holmes. The TV and movie star, turned wife to Tom Cruise and mother to daughter Suri, is now making her singing and dancing debut with a tribute to Judy Garland in tonight's elimination show.
Holmes recently teamed up with the show's producers and directors, as well as a judge from Dancing with the Stars, in order to form the Dizzy Feet Foundation. The non-profit organization was formed in order to increase access to dance education for underprivileged and talented dancers. Their mission is to provide scholarships and grants to talented dancers, and to also develop and support dance education programs for underprivileged children. She will be singing and dancing to Judy Garland's Get Happy from the musical Summer Stock in order to introduce viewers to her charity.

I thought she was gonna dance?????????????????
She did much more dancing than Judy Garland.
Watch THAT clip. (the Judy Garland one)
Why do some people need to constantly criticize? She is promoting the foundation and did not charge a performance fee, for goodness sake! Can't she even do charity work without being judged!!!
God, some only see black or white in everything. At least she was brave enough to have a go, knowing that there are the home critics out there ( and here) who would not do it themselves or even get the opportunity to do so, as they are nobodies.

I thought that her number was extremely entertaining and that she was really talented, but I definitely am with SUEZQ about the dancing. I'm sure she is an incredible dancer, but we didn't see that in the show, just her incredible voice and stage presence.
I thought that they could have focused more on choreography and less on the singing since they're promoting dance. Jan- you're right, we shouldn't criticize a free performance...
