LA Fashion Week Fall 2010 Highlights.

Since I moved back to Los Angeles, LA Fashion week has consistently been a whirlwind experience. With back to back events for more than just a “week”. With out one big sponsor and one big “tent” so to speak, Smaller productions are stepping up to the plate to fill the gap of the once single organized fashion week. And we end up with small pockets of events. Each event with potential, redeeming qualities and a vision of the LA fashion week future.

As I had time to report, LA Fashion Week last week kicked off with fashion events the GenArt Alumi celebration event, the FGI-LA Meet the Designer and the Muse event, and the What Goes Around Comes Around Anniversary Party. All fabulous events. And as the week(s) carried on there were so many more reportable runway shows and events. I was able to attend Bebe runway show, Directives West First.LA show, CMC Designer Launch Pad, BoxEight, Concept, LA Fashion Collective, Capretta Collection preview and a fabulous event called Simply Stylist. But between all these events were Yotam Solomon’s Fall 2010 presentation, LA Fashion weekend at Sunset Gower studios for 3 nights, Project Ethos, A Lloyd Klein presentation, and even a few more that I am sure I am missing.

With a schedule like this on top of my Image Consulting schedule, it’s nearly impossible to get a story up on every event. So I thought of a fabulous way for all my readers to get their fixings on all the amazing events around town. After a successful LAFW 2.0 event two weeks ago now, I was able to meet the most dynamic fashion bloggers and journalists. So here is a listing of some of lovely ladies I shared many of my LA Fashion experiences with. They all have great coverage of LA Fashion Week, a unique perspective and fantastic photography. Enjoy!
