The UConn Huskies scored their 62nd straight win with 84-38 against the Louisville Cardinals on Sunday in a rematch of last year's national championship game (watch the video below).

As usually, UConn star player, Tina Charles, stood out with her excellent performance of scoring 20 points and nine rebounds while the Cardinals trailed behind with 36 points early in the game already with little to no hope of catching up mostly due to their own missed opportunities in shots and rebounds.

Currently ranked as No.1 UConn has been dominating women's NCAA Division I basketball for quite some time now, however, not for the first time in history as they enjoyed a 70-game win streak from 2001-2003. While Charles and Maya Moore are certainly the driving force behind the Huskies' s offense the defensive skill set of the team as well as the fine-tuned overall team work must be credited to each and every player on this powerful team.

While the Huskies seem to continuously improve their game, there is no doubt that the gap between them and all other teams in the division seems to widen.
