First Lady Jenny Sanford, wife of Mark Sanford (South Carolina governor) has filed for divorce. After 20 years of marriage, Mrs. Sanford will have the last say in the adulterous liaison that led to her decision.
Earlier this year, Governor Mark Sanford and his "soul mate" from Argentina, Maria Belen Chapur were exposed to the Nation and the world.
At the time, Jenny Sanford agreed to make every effort to reconcile with her husband for the sake of their four boys. After six months, the First Lady has come forward to dissolve the marriage.
Jenny Sanford gave up her career as a successful investment banker to become a full-time wife and mother.
