Jordan LaRousse and Samantha Sade are self-proclaimed champions of female sexuality. As graduates from CU-Boulder with Bachelor's degrees in English, they have a mutual passion for fiction. Erotic fiction.

As local editors of Oysters & Chocolate, an erotic Web site, they've created a playground for writers, artists and readers to showcase and enjoy quality erotic works. (Warning: You must be 18 or older to enter the site - and the Oysters & Chocolate erotica homepage gives the whole rundown.)

Why the name? Oysters and chocolate are both aphrodisiacs, but wouldn't be found on the same plate. According to the LaRousse and Sade, the title represents a spectrum of sexuality and sensuality from bondage to romance. Essentially, the question they're asking in each issue is, "What turns you on?"

O&C went live on the Web in July 2005 and today it's home to more than 550 articles and 380 pieces of erotica art created by close to 300 contributors. From erotic poetry to sex stories to photography, the site caters to both men and women.

Ask these ladies any question and they will answer it in great detail (which perhaps makes them the erotic fiction experts they are). I recently had the chance to pick their brains about all things aphrodisiacs, sex resources and the correct context usage of the word "come." Since they both provided such great, detailed answers, I'll be posting this Q&A interview in a fun series of articles. Samantha Sade answers the first question. Enjoy!

Most Denver/Boulder women may be lacking in their local go-to sex resources. Where are the best starting places for women sick of dodging mainstream porn? From local seminars to local lady authors, what Web sites, stores or businesses can women turn to?

SS: This is an interesting question, because it's one of the main reasons we started Oysters & Chocolate in the first place. We saw a real lack of sexual resources for women. As far as local resources go, sex stores, such as Fascinations are usually very woman-friendly.

However, there will be men in these places, and some women are uncomfortable with this. For real anonymity and privacy, we offer a boutique on our site that carries an enormous selection of bedroom accessories and toys, and it also has reviews and information so that a woman can purchase with confidence.

For women-only events, we would recommend parties by Slumber Parties, which are sex-toy parties that women can host in their own homes. These are great because the presenter usually has good information on the toys, women can look at things and ask questions and be silly together, and then they can purchase whatever they want in privacy.

Another wonderful local resource is MissVixen Enterprises. The owner, Naomi Tepper, offers private pole-dancing and strip-tease classes at home and bachelorette parties. She also offers one-on-one personal strip-tease sessions for women who really want to perfect the art of seductions. These fun classes are incredibly empowering and sexy!

Keep your eyes peeled for more of this sexy Q&A series.

Loved this article! I'd also like to recommend Party Gals. Party Gals is also another home party company like "Slumber Parties" however these parties are intended for both woman only events and for couples. As the Rocky Mountain Trainer for Party Gals I'm confident in our Romance Specialists. We focus on teaching about sexy products and sexuality for women as well as men. We also host "Pole Parties" where the guests of the party can see romance enhancement products and get the scoop on some basic pole dancing moves. Party Gals Parties dot com can fill in the rest!
