Want to cut your risk of lung cancer in half? Take a daily multivitamin. A study released in today’s issue of the Journal of the American Medical Association links regular Vitamin B intake—and not smoking—with a 56 percent less likelihood of developing lung cancer than those with the low levels of Vitamin B intake.

Having a hard time remembering to take your vitamin every day? Try these tips to keep it at the top of your mind.

-          Take your vitamin at the same time every day.

-          Associate taking your vitamin with something else you have to do every day. If you always drink coffee, put your vitamins right by the coffee filters. If you are religious about wearing makeup, keep them in your makeup bag.

-          Keep a container of vitamins at work and another at home. Set yourself a calendar reminder to take them.

-           Make a pact with someone you see every day—a spouse, roommate, or office mate—to take them together so you don’t forget.
