Genetic Denim has partnered with Gabrielle’s Angel Foundation for Cancer Research by creating a limited edition “Gabrielle” jean.
By taking the most popular style, the Shane, a tight form fitting slimming jean and adding a touch of the Foundation’s angel logo Genetic Denim are making it possible to help through fashion. The Gabrielle will have the angel logo stitched on the coin pocket as well as detailed on the back patch, the jean will be available in a rich classic blue wash making it an easy choice for everyday or night wear.
“The color of the jean is called the “Brighter Day” and was chosen specifically to signify the goal of the partnership,” says Genetic Denim Creative Director Ali Fatourechi.
The Gabrielle will be available later this month through retail stores stocking Genetic Denim, though for those of you who cannot wait presale is available online now with shipping starting tomorrow. With 100% of the net sales from the Gabrielle going towards Gabrielle’s Angel Foundation for Cancer Research this is one of the most stylish ways to contribute to a good cause.
Try them casual or dress them up, everyone should have a pair of jeans in their closet – let these be yours and they will soon become your ‘go-to’ piece. Already a favorite brand amongst the A-list; wear them edgy like model Agyness Deyn, tight like Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger, glamorous like singer Ciara or casual like actress Jessica Alba.
Genetic Denim believes that every body type is different therefore creating jeans that offer the best possible fit and accentuating assets rather than insisting one mould is good for everyone. Taking the best from the trends and working that into Genetic Denim’s signature 1970’s style a collection has been created for women that real women can actually wear.
Gabrielle’s Angel Foundation for Cancer Research -
Created in 1996 by songwriter Denise Rich and her daughters and son-in-law in memory of Rich’s daughter, Gabrielle Rich Aouad.
At the age of 27 Gabrielle lost her battle with acute myelogenous leukemia (AML), it was her wish for a foundation to be created that would spare others the pain she endured. To date, the Foundation has awarded nearly $11 million in Medical Research Awards making it one of the largest non-government sources of grant support to blood cancer researchers.
Do your part to help a worthy cause that helps others around us.
In Gabrielle’s own words, “Love defies all pain, even death.”
