While Mark Fast's FW 2010 at London fashion show was interesting with snug dresses fit for day or night, what was more interesting was his use of "full figure" models on the catwalk. While the models may not look or seam full-figured in the truest sense of the word, they certainly are labeled as such by the industry.
The show proved that even sassy silhouettes work best on curves, and create an interesting perspective because perhaps we, as real women, can actually picture ourselves wearing the clothes for once. As opposed to fawning over something and realizing it can only look that good on a woman who'se 15 years old and 6 feet tall, we see curves walking down the runway, portraying the garments in a fabulous light that gets you thinking, "Maybe I can wear that..."

Oh come on! What terrible clothing to showcase a voluptuous woman in! And no I'm not going to be a good sub and say "oh at least he's doing something for 'plus size' models." Those clothes are for very thin women. The are no cups to support the breasts on the vest that the above model is wearing. It's like putting Kate Moss into a Hcup bra and sending her out in pubic with no shirt over herself.
Mark fast needs to take a look at some vintage photos of June Wilkinson, Anita Ekberg and Sophia Loren and copy what they wore or at least stop designing for boys. This grunge waify, ripped look flatters no one ESPECIALLY voluptuous women with breasts. that clothing Stinks!
While I do agree the dresses are not the best on these models, I am still pleased to see them working in mainstream fashion. It may not be exactly what we want to see (yet), but it's definitely a step in the right direction that they're being booked for mainstream shows.
You Stink!
