The Rachel Zoe Project is back on Bravo, but is it better? Last season we saw Rachel shop like a mad woman, while juggling the animosity between her assistants Brad and Taylor. We also saw Rachel's house and the real experience that goes on day-to-day as she styles some of the hottest celebrities on the planet. Playing with beautiful clothes all day and freaking out about shoe pads? Sign us up!
Season 2 of The Rachel Zoe Project was touted as being more dramatic than ever, and boy were they right. When will the networks understand that yes, we love drama when it comes to the insane women of The Real Housewives franchise, but when it comes to a show with substance (hey, at least we're watching Rachel and company work), we don't need the fabricated intensity. On the first episode (which aired last week), we saw tension build between Taylor and Rachel and Brad as a duo, as they semi-ganged up on Taylor, poking fun that she was jealous of a new intern. Which brings us to another question? Why so many interns? It seems there's just as much work as ever, so having an extra two or three faces in the Zoe camp doesn't help viewers feel they're getting an inside look at the world of celebrity styling.
Last night's episode took us to New York fashion week, where Taylor worked and Rachel and Brad traipsed around town looking fabulous. Rachel met Giorgio Armani, and though she was flabbergasted by the experience, she didn't have time to learn a few meager words in Italian in order to communicate with the man.
Is the show still fabulous? Yes. Is it more fabricated than ever? Of course. Like all decent reality TV shows, the execs have to dumb it down in order to believe the public will "get it." Are you watching The Rachel Zoe Project?

I only watched a few episodes last season but enough to know what the show is all about and the "characters" on it. Saw the first episode of the 2nd season. The only reason why I am reluctant to watch it every week is because of Taylor. When ever I watch, her attitude is always on the negative side. She may be good at what she does but having a "sucky" attitude is really not attractive. Not sure why Rachel still keeps her. I am sure Taylor didn't have a lot of knowledge when she started. She also has options. If she hates what she's doing she should find another job.If I were Rachel I'll wait till the business "slows down" a bit and start looking for a more positive person. Rachel - negative work environment is not good for anyone. It is an added stress in your life and that will affect you and your husband if it hasn't already happened. I know it's good for TV ratings when you have drama but she just brings people like me down just by looking at her without her opening her mouth.
Considering all the stylists who would kill for Taylor's job, she should suck it up and smile or quit and form her own company. Who needs drama?
Why does Rachel always look like she is hung over or wasted? It is strange that she appears to have such a great reputation in the fashion industry. On this show, she comes off as confused, stressed and annoying. And she is TOO thin - bad role model for TV. I am not sure why there is a season 2 but I was not a fan of season 1. This is BAD reality TV. Click! Time to change the channel!
I do love this show - but cant watch at normal time - they drink too much coffee and I find I cant fall asleep after. LOL
But really, Taylor is very dedicated and freaks out only when others in the organization dont communicate or follow through. I can totally understand. But Rachael does know this and that is why she allows her to blow up.
Who is Rachel Zoe??? How does she fit into the fashion industry? Why does every insecure woman surround herself with over the top gay men? Did Rachel have chin work? And does she ever run a brush through her hair? this show is one big Ssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss leak. ugh!
Yeah i watch it sometimes...
