The San Diego North Chamber of Commerce and Sony Corp. of America will host San Diego Women's Week beginning on April 19, providing opportunities for women to be inspired by great speakers, participate in forums and network. The events will be held at the Sabre Springs Corporate Center on the evenings of April 19, 20, 22 and 23 and during the day on April 24.
Chamber CEO Debra Rosen said the week is intended to inspire, empower and connect women executives, professionals and young entrepreneurs from around San Diego. Discussion topics will include health, fitness, finance, law, retail, fashion, business, the arts and entrepreneurship.
The event will showcase nearly 30 speakers will be featured, including Gayle Wilson, the former first lady of California; U.S. Attorney Karen Hewitt; TAG founder Alicia Gwynn, wife of San Diego Padre legend Tony Gwynn; retired White House physician Dr. Connie Mariano; and entrepreneur Ingrid Croce, wife of the late singer-songwriter Jim Croce, who's operated Croce's Restaurant & Jazz Bar in San Diego's Gaslamp District for 25 years.
