Super Bowl ads - who won? who lost?

I love watching Super Bowl commercials. This year was no exception. Here are my votes for the Winner and Loser.
And the Loser is:
Go Daddy and Danica Patrick. I like Danica Patrick. I think she’s talented and courageous. Maybe that’s why I’m so disappointed that she ended up in a shower scene in one of the commercials. Danica, what were you thinking?  Go Daddy, your ads are tasteless and I’m surprised that you’re willing to insult so many potential customers. I know I’ll never be a customer of yours.
By the way, I want to nominate Teleflora.com for the second worst commercial that showed a box of flowers that humiliated a woman at work. It was humorless and obnoxious.
And the Winner is:
Pedigree. Thank you for making a commercial that was funny and caring. It got my attention by showing people that have unusual pets: a rhinoceros, an ostrich, a boar, and a bison. The tagline was, “Maybe you should get a dog.” It made me laugh out loud.
It promoted not just the pet food, it also promoted Pedigree’s adoption program with the slogan, “help us help dogs”. Best of all, if you go to their site, Pedigree will donate a bowl of dog food for a shelter for each short video clip that you watch about the crazy animals in the commercial and their owners. That’s where I’m going now and I hope you will too. Pedigree, you have my vote for favorite Super Bowl commercial. Thanks Pedigree!

I really loved the Conan O'Brien commercial... he is super hilarious and a great sport for doing the commercial.

You give proud working professional women a bad name. Most have a sense of humor. The only commercial I laughed at was the teleflora commercial. You are so concerned with pc women's rights that the meaning was lost on you: if you really cared about your special someone you will send a nice bouquet not some box of flowers you can point click on the web. You are insulting the one you love. To say it was devoid of humorous just silly. To not care for it is another thing. I suggest you buy a suit of armor instead of an Armani. As for Danica Patrick...why do women seek to cut each other down? She obviously liked the commercial idea. She is comfortable enough to know fun is fun. (BTW...the potential customers for GoDaddy WANT to see women is showers) I am thankful you are not in the ad business. Good Day Madam.

She just hated the Teleflora commercial because she's a woman. I thought it was funny. It also was very effective for men, as they would not want to put their woman through that. My fave was Conan.

I'm a female and I had no problem with the Danica Patrick ad for GoDaddy. It was exactly what I would have expected from this company...and I was happy to see a woman in the ad who is known for more than just her body--unlike the other obscure GoDaddy Girls.

I liked the moose ad the best, though I couldn't tell you what product it was selling. It was funny, and that is what I expect from Super Bowl commercials.

I'm a professional woman and thought the Teleflora commercial was funny! And GoDaddy.com is known for their Superbowl ads that push the limit - this was no exeception. If these had run during figure skating, I can understand the uproar. But it's the Superbowl and I expect ads that target men. These were no exception.

I had similar thoughts about Danica Patrick's commercials. I saw her as a role model of a strong woman making her own way in a mostly-men's sport. I was a bit disappointed to see her portrayed in a sleazy way in those commercials.

I thought the Teleflora commercial was pretty funny, and I liked the unusual pets commercial, too, although I forgot that Pedigree was the sponsor.

I agree with you about Danica. I was pretty surprized that she agreed to it, especially since she is in a male dominated industry. GoDaddy seems so tacky, why affiliate with such a website!! Danica, you're so much better than that!

I don't like any commercial that humiliates anyone - man or woman - I just don't find it funny to watch it happening to people.

I did like the Dorito's commercials (especially the snow globe!)

I thought the Teleflora ad was the funniest! I was not offended by what the flowers said; that was the point...don't let _your_ flowers say the wrong thing, get Teleflora so you send the right message. And the guy at the end, perfect! Now, the GoDaddy's; poor taste. The flowers may have insulted the woman at work but those women insulted thenselves.

Fran doesn't like any commercials that humiliate anyone, but she liked the Doritos commercials? You didn't think it was humiliating for that woman's clothes to blow off her on a downtown street? You should take another look at your Doritos ads or define humiliating.

The shower scene wasn't that bad. But, I don't understand why Danica would do it. The flower one wasn't so bad either. It does make the point and the vases of flowers are a good contrast. I too enjoyed the Doritos commercials, especially the snow globe one. But, among my favorites were the ones with the Budweiser Clydesdales, especially the one where the horse retrieves the tree branch! A friend picked up 3D glasses from Lucky. So, we enjoyed the Monsters v. Aliens and the SoBe commercials. Yes, I agree, the Pedigree commercial was funny and original!
