Epic Mickey is a Wii exclusive.
By now, you’ve probably heard the rumors about Epic Mickey. The upcoming Game Informer article has the internet abuzz, and there was the suggestion that the game would also see an Xbox 360 and PS3 release.
These rumors have caused Game Informer to act, releasing the following statement:
We were trying to save this nugget for when the magazine hits this coming Monday, but it seems the rumor mill has gotten out of control and it is time to put it in its place. Disney Epic Mickey is indeed a Wii Exclusive. If there is another version in the works out there for another system, we certainly aren't aware of it.
The game is being designed by Warren Spector and developed by Junction Point Studios. Spector has worked on games like System Shock, Deus Ex, Thief: The Dark Project and more. Walt Disney Animation and Pixar are working in collaboration with Spector on this project.
Epic Mickey pits Mickey against Oswald the Lucky Rabbit and the Phantom Blot. Oswald represents one of Walt Disney's first creations. He is jealous of Mickey's success, and sends the Phantom Blot to the Disney universe for revenge.
