Perhaps this year's Midsummer celebration led to the discovery of an affinity for working with fairies or a desire to continue working with them . If so, the Truth Fairy pendulum and message board kit might be of value. The Truth Fairy, created by Amy Zerner and Monty Farber, authors of The Enchanted Tarot and The Psychic Circle, contains a fairy pendulum and twelve different message boards for use with the pendulum.
The Truth Fairy pendulum has two fairies on it and it is on a black cord with a clasp, so it can also be worn as a necklace. It has a hinged lid that can be opened up to insert something into the pendulum, such as a piece of paper that has the question written on it. The chamber of the pendulum, called a secret chamber by the authors, is a generous size, so it could also be filled with crystals and herbs that enhance divination, such as aqua aura and mugwort. Another choice might be to fill the pendulum with stones and herbs that facilitate fairy contact, such as staurolite, also known as fairy cross, and rosemary. The pendulum could be charged and consecrated to a particular fairy or group of fairies associated with divination, such as dryads or the Moerae. The authors suggest placing vitamins in the chamber and then asking if they are the right vitamins to be taking.
There are twelve message boards designed for use with the pendulum. These message boards feature the lovely collage textile art of Amy Zerner, which will be familiar to fans of the Enchanted Tarot, and they cover a variety of subjects - abundance, banishing, communication, courage, creativity, enlightenment, joy, location, love, success, timing and wellness. The front of each message board is used in conjunction with the pendulum to dowse for the answer and the back of each board has some suggested questions to assist with question formulation. In addition to being pretty to look at, the boards are easy to use and seem to really tap into the intuition and provide good information.
Completing the set are a companion book and CD. The book has clear instructions for using the Truth Fairy pendulum and message boards, including a section on what to do if you are having a problem obtaining an answer. The book also has a section on the fairy associated with each message board. Perhaps the best part of the book is the twelve enchantments, which the authors say ". . .have been purposefully written to be an active prayer, a ritual that helps you both to raise the vibration of your intention when you ask a question and to enhance your understanding of the answers you receive from the Truth Fairy. Turn to this section and read these enchantments any time you feel disconnected from the natural world." The CD is called The Truth Fairy Music from the Nature Spirits and it features 6 instrumental tracks by Monte Farber.
