The Lakewood Condominium Association of West Chester Township is one of four associations currently suing ORP Realty Management in Hamilton County Common Pleas Court, and has taken the lead in attempting to recover some of the $830,000 they allege was stolen from them by blocking the sale of motor vehicles by ORP President Steven Sykes Valentino.
ORP and Valentino own several vehicles, including a Range Rover with vanity plates reading “SVLNTNO”, and according to lawyers representing Lakewood is attempting to sell them off without their titles to defraud their creditors. In an attempt to block this action, which has allegedly netted Valentino (nee’ Steven Sykes) approximately $50,000, Judge Steven Martin approved an order on Friday, December 11 to seize 11 cars, trucks, and sport utility vehicles valued at $134,000 from ORP and Valentino.
This seizure is the most recent action against Valentino and ORP, who are accused of having stolen more than $1 million from the 16 condominium properties they manage in southern Ohio. It is possible that Valentino’s financial collapse could affect other properties in which he owns a share, including the Mount Lookout Tavern and the Vino Tino wine bar in Hyde Park.
ORP closed its doors in November in the wake of multiple lawsuits.
