In a city with minimal and often inconvenient parking, designated areas for Curbside Pickup have become a common sight in West Los Angeles.
Do you need an afternoon Chipotle fix? No need to battle the free, yet unbelievably packed Broxton parking lot in order to pick up a 1,000 calorie burrito from the chain's Westwood location. Instead, simply call ahead to place your order, pull up outside the restaurant, and wait as one of Chipotle's friendly employees bring your order out to you.
Several restaurants in West Los Angeles offer this fabulous service, including Curbside Pickup pioneer California Pizza Kitchen and Brentwood's Coral Tree Café. Sure Coral Tree has issues with it's spotty service and inconsistent food, but sometimes speedy take out solutions trump all.
Take note Corner Bakery, your Roasted Tomato Basil Soup is out of this world, but since you don't provide take-out eaters with a place to stop...they won't stop. It is time to jump on the Curbside Pickup bandwagon or residents will take their appetites, and wallets, elsewhere.
