Here is a good simple meditation technique for busy people.
City people, New Yorkers especially,  need a good simple relaxation and meditation practice to keep focused and happy.
One simple mediation technique is just to ask yourself once or twice a day: "how do I feel?"
And just notice your response. That's it.
Another simple meditation requires you carve out 5 minutes of YOU time.
Sister Jenna, Washington D.C. director of the India based, Brahma Kumaris World Spiritual Organization has devoted more than 20 years to encouraging a natural acceptance of spirituality in the daily life of busy city people.
She offers a simple meditation and relaxation technique you can do anytime of day, when you're on the bus or train to and from work or just during a break.
SIMPLE MEDITATION FOR BECOMING PEACEFUL AND FULL OF ENERGY
For 5 minutes...
  • Sit quietly....breath in and out a few times...... and inside of your mind engage in this dialogue.
  • Forget your name....and check how you fee.
  • Forget your gender...check how you feel
  • Forget your role/s and title/s...check how you feel...
  • Forget your body, check how you feel....

 

Pause...don't rush your experience or feeling, but allow yourself to fall into it...Remind yourself, if I have no name, gender, role, or body, how would I feel...LIBERATED

Sister Jenna says, "we spend 24 hours a day with ourselves and yet we do not know who we are. Our thoughts are moving faster than the speed of light." Are we more peaceful for it?

She continues, "when your inner world begins to feel liberated you are moving closer to self realization. With a simple meditation, you gain glimpses of this experience and as a result your interest in wanting to increase the experience of self realization enhances."

    This is a very enlightening and only way to deal with stress. Sr Jenna has indicated an very easy and accurate method to accomplish this.
    I would definitely recommend people to visit the meditation center and learn more about their real self.

    Indentification with our name, gender, role, and even body is burden that limits our experience of love, of peace, of happiness. What a wonderful simple exercise to lighten the load.

    It is good to know about the self and feel relaxed.
    I found this exercise to be simple and helpful in our day-to-day life. I would recommend people to attend Stress Management course given by Sr Jenna.
