Valerie Mata is the owner of the Natural Food Exchange and recently moved her store to Reading from Stoneham, a short 3 mile relocation. The new store has a dedicated parking lot, clearer signage and the floorplan is easier to navigate for shoppers. Personality and help placing special orders hasn't changed so its no surprise they are busier in the new location.

One of the draws for this health food store is the large selection of gluten free products. A real lifesavor for folks with celiac disease or wheat and gluten food intolerances. It is also popular amongst those looking to shed a few extra pounds by going on a gluten-free diet.
