Are you sitting around wondering what to do in Austin this weekend? Check out these ideas, my friend!
Fantastic Fest is finally here! If you didn't get a badge, you may still be able to get tickets to some shows at either the Paramount or South Lamar Alamo Drafthouse.
Tonight, Fantastic Fest welcomed Zombieland to the Paramount. Both Woody Harrelson and Jesse Eisenberg were in attendance. Saturday night, George Romero introduces Survival of the Dead. (Tickets were still available at the time of this writing.) Attend Fantastic Fest and you will certainly run into a lot of local and international film talent.
Would you rather be out in the beautiful Texas sunshine? Go volunteer to help put together the Scare for a Cure haunted house. The Blood Ritual Fang Gang is seeking all kinds of assistance, including help with construction, set building, and painting.
Want to be front and center during the Blood Ritual horror? Scare for a Cure is having calls for actors and crew members this weekend, as well. Imagine working alongside some of Austin's most amazing costume designers, audio and lighting technicians, and special effects professionals!
Blood Ritual will be held off City Park Road at the grounds of Richard Garriott's Britannia Manor. See the Scare for a Cure web site for all of the gory details on volunteering.
Now, go scare up some fun!
