
Will Reebok EasyTone shoes sweep you off your feet?
Reebok has been heavily pushing its new EasyTone shoes through TV and print ads and by sending freebies to lots of bloggers and celebrities.
So what's the deal with the shoes?
Like other "wobble" technology footgear (FitFlops, for example), you have to work harder to remain stable. So in theory, your muscles have to work harder wearing the EasyTones than in conventional fitness shoes.
Will they miraculously shape up your lower half just by walking around? Doubtful. But they may make you burn a couple more calories.
But there's a bit of a problem with the sneaks. Reebok advises that you avoid side to side movement, as you would with basketball, tennis or aerobic dance.
