The New York Times reports on an interesting way to slim down your hips and thighs: Suck out the fat and inject it into your breasts.
Two decades ago, plastic surgeons were warned not to inject liposuctioned fat into patients' breasts because of calcification, which may cloud mammograms. But recently, the the American Society of Plastic Surgeons reversed its decision and told surgeons to proceed with caution.
There are real downsides to this procedure. Losing weight will cause loss of breast tissue, just like real life, and sometimes the suctioned fat will die, creating oil cysts, masses, nodules and scarring, the Times reports. (Fun!)
