Reebok EasyTone - better legs and a better butt with every step

Can a shoe really help you get better legs or a better butt with every step?

According to Reebok, the answer is yes and they say they figured out how with the EasyTone shoe.

Enter the EasyTone shoe which has the tag line of "nice booty, great sole."  The concept behind the shoe is relatively simple to understand.  The "balance pods" on the bottom of the shoe creates a slight instability.

This instability causes your muscles to work just a little bit harder.  By making your muscles work just a little bit harder, you will naturally tone while you walk.  That's the claim, anyway.

By working the larger muscle groups in your body you will increase your muscle mass.  By increasing your muscle mass, you will naturally burn more calories.  Since the quads and glutes are among the largest muscle groups, you get a bigger bang for your buck.

Do they really work?  The verdict is still out on that.  However, Reebok does claim these shoes are comfortable to wear so even if they don't work, you'll at least have that to fall back on.

If you decide to purchase the shoes and want to maximize their effect, you can visit the Reebok EasyTone site and view their recommended exercises.

The shoe retails for $109.58 from Reebok's website.

I guess they're supposed to be similar to Earth shoes which I wear sometimes. The only thing they do is hurt my calves if I wear them too long so maybe they work your calves but definitely not the bum. :-)
