After 65 years, the reputable Priscilla of Boston has announced that it will close. It seems that company owners wish to invest more in their other branch: David's Bridal, a retail chain known for offering wedding dresses and bridesmaid gowns at more affordable prices. As the dressmaker closes, Priscilla gowns are going on sale for 40 percent off regular price in various locations--including those near to Atlantic City and South Jersey brides.
Priscilla of Boston primarily creates and sells wedding gowns in the $2000-$5000 range, whereas David's Bridal serves brides searching for attire in the $300-$1500 range. With the 40 percent off closing sale, a South Jersey bride can get a Priscilla dress at a David's price.
Priscilla will remain open until the end of 2011 and have announced this sale on their official website.
