Maine Public Broadcasting Network
The Maine Public Broadcasting Network has published their list of auctions about to hit out televisions during the 38th MPBN Great TV Action, April 23-26 and April 28-May 3. If you, your wedding party or some fantastic gift-givers are lucky enough to win some of these auctions, you may be able to really help yourself out in your wedding!
Some of the more appealing auctions I found include:
• 1 year membership to the Brunswick Golf Club. This would make for a fantastic groomsmen gift or bachelor party excursion. I, myself, am having my reception at the Brunswick GC – maybe if you sign up for a membership, they’ll cut you a deal on the reception hall costs (or maybe they’ll just cut you a deal on your membership if you sign up to have your reception there. Either way – my fiancé will be VERY pleased.) If this course doesn’t suit your needs, there are only a million other courses offered in the auction.
• $200 certificate to Brenda’s Bloomers, on the coast of Cape Neddick, for wedding flowers! Or, if you’re adventurous, there is a $70 certificate to Skillin’s Greenhouses, where you can possibly grow your own wedding flowers.
• $170 certificate for your wedding gown preservation from Norgetown Laudromat & Dry Cleaners in Sanford or $125 from LeBlanc’s Cleaners in Lewiston.
• $700 tour of Mid Coast Winery for 4 with food and win pairings at the Maine Winery Guild. Call me crazy, but a bachelorette party that involves this would be fantastic!
• $200 towards a custom designed special occasion cake from Confection Art in York. In scoping out their website, they offer a very wide selection – not just the wedding cake, but how about a groomsman’s cake?
• $40 certificate to Cook’s Lobster House on Bailey’s Island. I’m aiming to have my rehearsal dinner at this restaurant since most of my family is from out-of-state and just LOVE lobster. Every dollar I can get my hands on will help this expense.
• 1 month of dance classes for 2 at the Thomas School of Dance in Bangor. Anyone planning on doing some ballroom at their reception?
• Don't forget your honeymoon! This is a great opportunity also for couples who are planning their honeymoon in Maine. Auctions offered include cruises, meals, and tons overnight accommodations.
The more I look into this auction, the less excited I am about sharing what I’ve found! I won’t lie: I hope I don’t have to outbid any of you on these auctions! Huge wedding-cost saving options can be seen here, everyone! Check out the MPBN website for more details about what’s being offered and when it is on auction. Set your datebook and get your bridal party involved if you have to. Do what you can do to take advantage of these great deals – and keep in mind, they’re all for a good cause.

Excellent advertising for these local businesses!
Great ideas. Makes me want to start planning a wedding. Hmmm.
I had stopped by the site and took a look at your ranking for some of your terms and just wondered if you'd be at all interested in having your site improved in terms of where it's ranked on the major engines, Google Yahoo etc. with the terms you'd like as well as some I'd like to suggest. I can get your site on page 1 and have done so for about 283 people to date. Yes, I'm a real person, Yes, I actually just came back from viewing your site. I already know you get a ton of offers day to day. This is obviously different, I have plenty of references, work from home alone, have been doing this since 92 and still find time to raise 3 little girls.
Call me at home if you want to, I work at home all day long helping people out with their traffic and sites, automating page content updates via rss feeds (google loves that), doing press releases, article creation and distribution, building one way inbound links, graphic and site design, I can even add (by the thousands) targeted social media followers (like twitter) to your account all day long, automating messeges you want to send out to them about your site. Posting ads on top various high traffic classified ad sites various cities, states etc. I have clients
that are swearing by what it is I do for them and would love to show you some examples if you're at all interested.

Did you know that it takes a gallon of oil to produce a typical toner
cartridge for a printer? Now consider the impact of throwing away
hundreds of millions of toner cartridges every year in the US.
That is over 10 times the amount of oil that polluted the Gulf of
Mexico being wasted each year. But what can you do about
it? You can do two things. First, you can make sure that
you recycle your ink and toner cartridges. Secondly, you can
complete the cycle by BUYING remanufactured ink and toner.
Today's remanufactured ink and toners give equivalent prints to the
original products but at a greatly reduced price. Savings can
often be as high as 50%. Thus, you can help make the world a
greener place while at the same time saving some money.
To make it easier for you, we are enclosing links to a couple of well
known, reputable suppliers of remanufactured ink and toner. When
you purchase from either of these companies via the enclosed link, they
will give us the money to plant 1 tree for every $5 that you
spend. Thus, if you spend $100 via these links, you will be
responsible for planting 20 trees via the La Cruz Habitat Protection
Project.
The two companies are Inkjets123.com use promo code NATURE to save an additional 10% and 4Inkjets.com use promo code GREEN to save an additional 10%.
