More than taking tests and more than the composition of scrolls that professors refer to as "research papers," I hate creating Powerpoint presentations. But my fear that Powerpoint's legacy could someday compare to our ancient friend, the ever-powerful wheel, has finally been negated.
Prezi.com allows members to create dynamic presentations hosted from the Web. What this means: better design options, fewer complications (I always manage to put Mac fonts on presentations that will display on PCs), and more interactivity.
Prezi also has templates its members can use to create presentations (just like Powerpoint, but you know, better).
So please, for the sake of me and your children, spread the word and eliminate the Powerpoint monopoly over formal presentations. Somewhere, someone won't have to witness clipart graphics ever again.
