There is no question that social media is in today, for personal and for business purposes, but how far is too far?
This morning CNN reported that Ford Fiesta 2011 model is putting in full time internet connection in their newest model.
But it's not just the full time internet connection that is drawing all the attention, but the car's ability to tweet for you.
Yes, you read that right, the car itself will read the driver's break touch intervals to determine if the driver is in the sotp-n-go traffic, if the windshield wipers are on to determine the weather, and the location itself. It will do that and then it will tweet about it - on its own.
The tecnhology is definately getting more and more inovative and interesting, but the question becomes: who will actually benefit from that and does twitter univers really need all that info out there at all?
At this point in time, the IT scinetists don't even know yet the full spectrum of benefits. They are looking at this as just another experiment and what possible benefits it might have.
