.Current Synopsis...
Radar right now for the most part is sweeping clear, however there are a few light rain showers offshore. Checked the observations for fog and it is limited right now to the immediate coast. Surface analysis show that there is a weak front offshore and will move onshore on Monday.
.Short Term (Tonight through Tuesday Night)...
With a small temperature/dewpoint spread, areas of fog will develop later this evening and could be locall dense. Fog will continue to hold strong during the morning hours but as the front nears, the fog will burn off and rain will move in during the late morning through the afternoon hours. Rain amounts should be fairly light, less than a quarter inch. The rain should move away during the early evening hours and high pressure will build in and bring a stretch of dry weather. Highs during the period will be in the mid to upper 40s and lows in the mid 30s to lower 40s.
.Long Term (Wednesday through Sunday)...
For right now, long term forecast period will remain dry, though there are some model differences that appears but confidence right now is too low at this time to introduce rain chances. Towards the end of the forecast period however, models are pointing towards an Arctic high building over Western Washington and could bring much cooler temperatures during the weekend. Will continue to monitor the models for the next few days and will introduce rain chances, especially Thursday through Saturday.
