Space Shuttle to land at KSC 9:44am
It will be cool, dry and sunny today; as we have a strong high pressure system building in producing cold northwesterly winds. This system will bring a very dry air mass into the central Florida area. Our relative humidity levels will be dangerously low and that has prompted the Red Flag Warnings. We could see these same critical fire danger conditions on Saturday. Today’s high temperatures will range from the upper 50’s north of Deland to the upper 60’s south of Palm Bay. Orlando should see a high temperature around 64°. Overnight lows will range from the upper 30’s north of Orlando metro area to the low 40’s south of Orlando metro area. Overnight Orlando will be lucky to reach 40°. If going to the beach please use extreme caution as there is a moderate risk for rip currents and there is a small craft advisory for the coastal waters. Expect close to the same weather conditions on Saturday. SEE SLIDE SHOW
