Weather almanac for Denver CO and vicinity, Sunday, November 29, 2009

Sunday brings a relatively nice, but cool day. There may be a few flurries spotted early this morning as the back end of a cold front moves through but after that, we should start to see clearing skies. High temperatures today will be near seasonal and in the mid 40’s.

Monday and Tuesday high pressure returns to Colorado. Temperatures to start out the workweek will be in the low 50’s and plenty of sunshine overhead.

It is the middle of the week through the weekend that the forecast gets a bit muddled. We do expect to see an upper level low move over the state on Wednesday and northwesterly Pacific flow arrive. The timing and the setup of all of it is still pretty uncertain.

We do expect to see much cooler temperatures starting Wednesday and through the weekend. Each day will have at least a slight chance of precipitation. As it gets closer we will get a better idea of what this all means for Colorado and Denver.
