This fantastically detailed photo was captured June 7, 2009 over the Denver, CO suburb of Aurora. It will probably be classified as an EF-1 tornado; no one was killed and injuries were few, but it made quite a mess of an area mall with lots of broken glass and roof damage.

Wow! Great picture - I hadn't seen that one. It is amazing how in today's digital age we can have so many pictures so quickly of severe weather. Also does make me a bit concerned that folks worry too much about pictures rather than safety. Hopefully most would evacuate to their basements when the situation would warrant it.

I was able to see this tornado many miles from where it touched down! The wall cloud was pretty amazing as well!
