An essential tool to predict an outdoor temperature would be a thermometer. Although it is a trustworthy and convenient tool to utilize, it must be something many meteorologists rely on. Not only meteorologists, but citizens of the US need to rely on thermometers to read what an outside temperature.

Getting a thermometer temperature reading can be a vital part of whether it accurately predicts a weather forecast’s outside temperature. This could be the case for Colorado Springs, Colo. since the weather is unpredictable and seems to consistently change several days during a week. A possible source to refer to would be this Wikipedia webpage about predictability and accuracy of thermometers.

It would be important if a temperature thermometer could generate weather statistics. An essential such as the one on News First 5 is the WeatherBug. From brief observation, the WeatherBug is an electronic weather generator that calculates weather statistics such as humidity percentages, barometer readings, high and low temperatures and wind speeds.

Then there is the fact that weather thermometers come as wireless devices in this generation. With the advancement of technology it is possible that a weather thermometer could be cordless and calculate some accurate data. However, wireless weather temperature thermometers may not be as accurate as a mercury thermometer.
