Thick fog this morning is the result of a lot of ground moisture interacting with the clear sky that developed Thursday evening.  The rain on Thursday morning, capped a streak of 7 days with wet weather.  Rainfall by the numbers:

  • Thursday: 0.56"
  • May: 3.88"  Above normal +3.07"
  • Year: 14.74" Above normal +0.51"

 

More showers are possible later today, with a greater chance of rain tonight and Saturday.  The outlook for Sunday, Mother's Day shows a marked improvement.  Check out the weather maps below.
