It's been a cold week for residents of Albuquerque and it appears as if this weather trend will continue through the weekend. The low Friday evening will be 14 degrees and Saturday will be slightly cooler with a daytime high of 38 degrees, but it should be sunny all day. Saturday evening, there is a slight possibility of freezing drizzle that may extend into Sunday morning. Watch for icy road conditions if you are out late Christmas shopping, or driving to church on Sunday as the freezing drizzle could easily turn to black ice. Saturday evening's low will be 16 degrees.
There may be some clouds on Sunday still lingering over the valley, but the skies will be clear for most of the day with a high of 41. The higher temperatures will be a great relief and hopefully melt some of the snow still weighing down the trees and rose bushes. Sunday evening will also be a bit warmer with a low of 21 degrees.
