High pressure will return to the region today with clouds giving way to sunshine and continued mild temperatures, before low pressure approaches tonight with rain showers and perhaps a thunderstorm. Much of the remainder of the week looks very unsettled...
A native of New Jersey now living in the Capital Region, Brent has been a meteorology enthusiast since childhood. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in broadcast meteorology from the University at Albany in 2007 and has extensive knowledge of the weather and climate of the Capital Region of Albany and the northeastern United States, as well as over seven years of forecasting experience with numerical weather prediction computer models.
