Another pleasant day is in store for our Tuesday across the Capital Region of Albany and upstate New York. Sunny skies will prevail, with temperatures just a tick warmer than yesterday, in the upper 80's. Some patchy fog will form overnight Tuesday, with temperatures still comfortable for sleeping in the lower 60's.
On Wednesday, our region will be under the influence of the next weather system, as the heat and humidity will increase slightly. Temperatures will approach 90 degrees and it will feel moderately uncomfortable. It should remain dry for most of the day, as the cold front will not approach until the evening into the overnight.
Expect a chance of scattered showers and thunderstorms after midnight and into early Thursday morning. Nothing looks to be severe at this time. Conditions will clear out by mid-afternoon on Thursday, with temperatures in the mid 80's and decreasing clouds.
There will be quite a cool and comfortable air mass moving in behind this system for the end of the week and into the weekend. This air mass will be feature rather cool temperatures for late July with highs in the upper 70's and night-time lows in the mid 50's. As of right now, the weekend looks to be dry and pleasant!
