Over 4.1 million Americans have lost their jobs during Obama's first year in office. The unemployment rate is over 10 percent or 17.3 percent if those who have given up on finding a job are counted. Are Obama and the Democrats tax and spend programs actually killing job opportunities in America?
In spite of Obama's "creative accounting", the truth is not lost on millions of American who are out of work. They are facing the worst job loss statistics since 1940. Yet the Obama administration keeps citing that the $787 billion stimulus is creating jobs. If it wasn't so dire for so many people, it would be comical.
The one in 10 Americans who are out of work listen and the only statistics that matters to them is whether people are finding jobs and the answer is an emphatic "no." Now it is expected that there will be more business bankruptcy in 2010 which means more layoffs.
Obama and the Democrats have increased the minimum wage, increased regulations and continue to interfere with the way business are run. The result is that business owners continue to tighten their belts, put more people on part time work or lay them off completely.
The threat that they will be strangled by the unions, the cap-and-trade program and higher taxes do nothing to encourage business to consider hiring. Instead they continue to look to where they can cut back on the number of people already employed. The health care reform will result in more layoffs as small businesses will bear an additional burden.
There is saying that when your neighbor loses his job, that is a recession. When an individual loses his own job, that is a depression. In Obama's world, it is a recession, in the world of ordinary Americans, it is a depression with a capital D. No matter how many pretty speeches Obama makes, it is obvious that he and the Democrats are either living in a make-believe world, are not facing or are ignoring how their programs are killing the job market in the United States.
Has Obama's blame game lost its value and his lack of judgment becoming more apparent? Does the buck stop at the person who has been sitting in the Oval office since January 2009 and who continues to put the economic future of America in danger?

Oh, but haven't you heard? The stimulus is working!!! Bunch of hooey!
I don't think a post blaming the whole economic problem on Obama and citing Glenn Beck deserves much more of a comment than, you're wrong.
The man does not care that he is killing this nation!
Oh yeah it's Obama's fault lmao As soon as you use Glen Beck as a reference your cred is gone!
"Fred" maybe he wants to kill this nation, barry hasn't ever exactly embraced or fell in love with the west.
Got something to say?
